Sketch & Improv
Driven by audience suggestions, we create fast-paced sketch and improv comedy revues — never seen, never heard, never to be repeated. Our cabaret-style shows happen at the Brockville Country Club and other venues around town. Bring your friends; bring your own off-brand superhero costume.
Dinner Theatre
Original comedy murder mysteries that weave local references, current events, and political mischief into a thrilling, laugh-packed who-dunnit. A full catered dinner, a comical criminal caper, and an audience invited to solve it. We've staged a new one almost every Christmas season since 2017.
Training
Want to unleash your inner funny? You'll come for the training and leave with an unexpected pack of hilarious stories that you helped to create. Improv workshops are open to anyone in the Brockville area — first-timers always welcome.
A dozen original productions and counting
Uppity Improv Society was founded in 2014 by co-founders Mark Oliver and Curt Geneau. Since then we've staged sketch revues, dinner-theatre murder mysteries, and charity galas benefiting the United Way of Leeds & Grenville and Champions for Kids.
Every show original, every cast volunteer, every laugh earned the hard way.
Brockville, Ontario
We rehearse and perform around Brockville and the broader Leeds & Grenville area. The Brockville Country Club is our most frequent stage; we've also performed at the Maitland MERC Hall and other venues.
